If you're looking for fun, you can visit the largest, most prestigious and longest running car show in Northern California from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this Sunday at the Palo Alto Concours d' Elegance at Stanford University.

The show will feature Ferrari as the theme car, with more than 100 select Ferraris on exhibit.

The 30th annual event will feature the marquee of exotic sports cars, the Ferrari, one of the world's most admired and coveted cars. Other highlights include this year's poster car, a rare 1950 166 Barchetta valued at $1.5 million.

A host of innovations will update the show with a new field layout boasting broad, paved promenades and a landscaped plaza. In all, 250 vehicles will be exhibited including many vehicles with owners from Los Altos.

Paul Averell, a resident of Los Altos, will feature his 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible featured in the July 4th parade in Redwood City and used as the lead car by Shirley Temple Black. The car has received many awards, including the 1990 vintage Mustang show and numerous restoration awards.

Barbara and George Frederic, of Los Altos, will display a 1913 Star. The roadster has placed in the 1994 and 1993 Concours at Stanford. The car was manufactured in England and is reputed to be the fastest 15.9 horsepower car in the world.

Genie and Gary Anderson, of Los Altos, will feature a 1955 Austin Healy model 100M. Restoration took more than five years.
