For more information, call 800-491-8988.TRACK TRIBUTES: Three Los Altos residents performed admirably in the National Masters Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held Aug. 7-10 at San Jose City College. Payton Jordan (who's featured in this issue) won the 100 and 200 meters in the men's 80-84 age division. Bob Anderson placed fourth in the 1,000 meters (men's 50-54 division) and David Johnston took sixth in the pole vault (men's 50-55 division). PONY POWER: The Los Altos Bronco All-Stars (ages 11-12) won their division at the Pony League Baseball Sectional Championship last month in San Jose. The squad beat Fremont, 13-3, to grab the title July 19. Los Altos then advanced to the regional, but was quickly eliminated July 25 by Washington Manor, 8-4. Team members included Danny Bobba, Will Camisa, Chris Cave, Kevin Cherrstrom, Tim Clarke, Chris Haury, Cody Himes, Aric Johnson, Rex Petrill, Matt Ronconi, Tristan Shuman, Ryan Wilcox and Greg Wrench. Los Altos was coached by Guy Shuman and Scott Clarke. TEE IT UP: The Los Altos Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is set for Monday at the Los Altos Country Club. The entry fee is $185.
