Quota reports productive year

This past summer, the president of Quota Club of Mountain View, which represents Palo Alto and Los Altos, returned from New Zealand to report a productive year for Quota Clubs International.

Club president Melba Williams reported on the combined efforts of all Quota clubs worldwide. The combined clubs worldwide gave funds totaling $1,170,664. Funds donated were presented to various organizations, including $401,138 to hearing and speech, and $309,655 to disadvantaged women and children.

Williams is inviting all individuals, whether working or retired, to attend the semi-monthly luncheons which are held on the first and third Thursdays at Michaels At Shoreline Restaurant, 2960 N. Shoreline Blvd., in Mountain View.
