Missing person

Oct. 13, 7:01 a.m.: A man reported that his 23-year-old son was last seen four weeks ago and may be involved in a cult.

Vandalized house

Oct. 13, 8:13 a.m.: A woman reported that her vacant house in the 800 block of Dixon Way was vandalized over the weekend.

Theft

Oct. 13, 10:06 p.m., Edith Avenue: A woman told police that she discovered some items missing from her home. She said she had been ill and had home care nurses in and thinks they may have been responsible.

Drugs, marijuana

Oct. 14, 6:57 a.m., 2400 block of Foothill Boulevard: A caller reported to police that two vehicles, occupied by sleeping men, were parked in the parking lot. Police made an arrest.

Sexual abuse

Oct. 14, 8:31 a.m, school offices on Covington Road: Police met the reporting party at the school offices regarding a sexual abuse case.

Home burglary

Oct 15, 9:48 a.m., 1500 block of Holt Avenue: A caller reported that someone burglarized his home. There was no break-in and only lamps were stolen, he said.

Bike thefts

Oct. 15, 2:54 p.m., 100 block of West Portola Avenue: A caller said his bicycle was stolen.

Oct. 15, 7:56 p.m.: A caller said his bicycle was stolen from Los Altos High School that day.

Drug arrest

Oct. 15, 9:50 p.m., San Antonio Road and El Camino Real: Police arrested a 43-year-old man on drug charges at the bus stop.

Domestic violence

Sunday, 9:55 p.m., 43 block of El Camino Real: Police reported that both involved parties called 9-1-1. She to say her boyfriend threw her out and locked the door. He to say she threw his incense burner out on the deck, and he thinks it could catch on fire. Police arrested a 49-year-old man.
