San Antonio Road. Great Decisions is a series of discussions is also sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association which also prepares the book that is the foundation of the series. Participants will meet every Monday in February and March, with the exception of Feb. 16. The topics to be discussed this year are as follows: Feb. 2: Is U.S. foreign policy up for sale? Feb. 9: China and the U.S. - what priorities in a changing relationship? Feb. 23: Human rights - what role in U.S. policy? March 2: Cuba - time to rethink U.S. strategy? March 9: Africa today - best of times, worst of times? March 16: Financing development - time for a new look? March 23: Turkey - energizing regional power or state in crisis? March 30: Religion's role in world affairs - challenges for the U.S. Admission is free. |
