Burglary

Jan. 2, 12:33 p.m. 800 block of Fremont Avenue: A caller said his office had been broken into during the night.

Exhibiting weapon

Jan. 2, 7:25 p.m., 500 block of Patrick Way: A caller said her ex knocked her down a few minutes earlier when she went to pick up the children.

Threats

Jan. 2, 7:06 p.m., 300 block of Chamisal Avenue: A caller said he received a phone call from an ex boyfriend of his daughter who threatened his wife and family with violence.

Party crashing

Jan. 2, 11:38 p.m., 400 block of Covington Road: A caller said about 20 people, who were turned away earlier from a party, returned and were trying to break down a door. They had thrown a statue through a window. Police made arrests.

Burglary

Jan. 3, 8:48 a.m., 300 block of Main Street: A caller said his business had been broken into through the rear door.

Suicide attempt

Jan. 3, 6:47 p.m.: A caller said that her friend had taken 50 sleeping pills.

Burglary

Jan. 4, 4:04 p.m., 300 block of Second Street: The janitor came to work and found a door broken in and at least one computer taken.

Malicious mischief

Jan. 5, 8:14 p.m.: A woman reported that someone scratched swasticas on her daughter's car while it was parked at Los Altos High School.

Cat shot

Jan. 7, 8:19 p.m., Pasa Robles Avenue: A woman reported that her cat was shot with a .22 caliber bullet. She didn't know if it had happened in Los Altos, but she has received threats against the cat from a neighbor.

Juvenile party

Saturday, 11:51 p.m.: Police made arrests for a juvenile party on East Edith Avenue.

Ransacked house

Sunday, 8:31, 10 block of East Portola Avenue: A caller reported that his house had been ransacked.
