Bomb threat

Thursday, 7:48 a.m., 100 block of West Portola Avenue: A receptionist at Egan Intermediate School reported that a man had called and said a bomb was due to go off in a locker room.

Restraining order

Thursday, 9:42 p.m., 100 block of Santa Rita Court: A caller reported that her ex-husband had called in violation of a restraining order.

Death threats

Los Altos Police were notified that a Los Altos resident, an executive who was involved in personnel layoffs, had received death threats. The subject has armed agents guarding his residence around the clock.

Juvenile control

Friday, 5:46 p.m., Fremont Avenue: A caller reported that juveniles were throwing things off the Loy Bridge into traffic. Police were unable to locate them.

Barking dog

Friday, 10:18 p.m., 900 block of Springer Road: A caller requested contact about ongoing problems with a neighbor's dog on Spencer Court. The home is under renovation, according to the caller, and the dog is left alone. Police reported things were quiet on their departure.

Vandalism

Saturday, 2000 block of Deodora Avenue: A resident requested extra patrol checks of her home on Deodora that is being remodeled. The contractor said that the port-a-potty has been tipped over twice, usually on Sunday night.

DUI arrests

Police arrested two, in separaate incidents, for DUI:

8:57 p.m., Shady Springs Lane and Bryant Avenue: Police arrested a 38-year-old man.

10:15 p.m., San Antonio Road and Coronado Avenue: Police arrested a 46-year-old woman.

Disturbing the peace

Saturday, 10:22 p.m., 4000 block of El Camino Real: A woman reported an argument and threats with her boyfriend at the Red Lobster restaurant when she refused to get in his car with him after he'd been drinking. He left on foot.
