Theft

Jan. 19, 2:05 p.m., 900 block of Fremont Avenue: A caller reported that a heavy-set 45-year-old-plus man wearing a dark jacket stole a bottle of wine and jumped into a car and left with a woman.

Theft

Jan. 21, North Springer Road: Mountain View Police advised that a suspect in Los Altos used a credit card to send $500. Western Union called the victim in Mountain View to verify the transaction and the victim said she had no idea how the suspect got the card number.

Burglary

Thursday, 4:29 p.m., Chester Circle: A suspect broke a window and tried to get into a house.

Bike theft

Thursday, 4:44 p.m., Portland and Miramonte avenues: A caller reported a bike stolen, a silver 24-inch BMX, that was locked to a rail near the Miramonte side of the park.

Threats

Friday, 9:01 a.m., 1700 block of Austin Way: A person reported that a subject has made threats to him in person and via the Internet.

Drunk

Saturday, 10:18 a.m., El Camino Real and San Antonio Road: A caller reported two men sitting at the bus stop drinking from an open container. Police arrested a 44-year-old man.

Domestic violence

Saturday, 7:42 p.m., 1300 Ranchita Drive: A husband and wife had an argument. The man shoved the woman onto the bed. No alcohol, no weapons involved. Police gave assistance.

Burglary

Sunday, 9:20 a.m., 1200 block of Eva Avenue: A caller reported that her home is under construction and cannot be secured. Items have disappeared from the house. The Jacuzzi tub is missing.

Vandalism

Sunday, 12:27 p.m., 4900 block of El Camino Real: A caller reported that his '87 Corvette was "keyed" and spit on.
