Candidates for the term, which expires in June, include Stutz's husband, Robert, Katharine Alexander, Richard Aurelio, Harry Emerzian, Sandra Humphries, Robert Laskin, Rob McCarthy, Michael Schoendorf and Gloria Shiff. The Los Altos Hills Town Council will hear candidate presentations at its Feb. 4 meeting. Aurelio, who is unable to attend the Feb. 4 meeting, was allowed to present to council at its meeting Jan. 21. The council appointed Betsy Bertram to the Pathways Recreation and Parkway Committee on Jan 21. A 21-year resident of Los Altos Hills, Bertram has served on the town's Safety Committee. Crawford Multari & Clark Associates of San Luis Obispo will provide professional services in connection with an update to the town's general plan. Council authorized Mayor Toni Casey on Jan 21 to execute an agreement with the firm. Council also directed town staff to purchase equipment to copy tapes of council meetings for residents. Currently, residents must bring their own equipment to copy portions of tapes of interest. Town Clerk Pat Dowd said there will be a minimal copying charge once the equipment is in place. |
