The Shoup Building, at Second and Main streets, was one of the more prominent downtown structures in 1946.

The Los Altos History House Museum is seeking still photos, home movies, maps, yearbooks and phone books from the Los Altos and Los Altos Hills area.

Volunteers and staff are currently working to produce a video from home movie clips and other media, which will be featured in the new Education Center at History House.

The video is intended to document the development of the Los Altos-Los Altos Hills community from the turn of the century to the present day. Subject matter can include annual events, ceremonies and dedications, or early businesses.

If you have photos or movies that you would like to submit for review, call History House at 948-9427.
