The Los Altos Library offers a parent/child Internet class from 9-10 a.m. Feb. 28 before the library opens. Wonderful resources are available on the Internet for children in grades kindergarten through grade eight. Advance registration is required.

Sign up at the children's reference desk or call 948-2751.

The Friends of the Library book sale held Feb. 6-8 was the most successful sale to date. Proceeds will benefit the Los Altos and Woodland libraries.

The Woodland branch of the library was flooded in the Feb. 2-3 storm. The carpet could not be saved so the library will continue closed for six to eight more weeks, a spokesman said.
