WRESTLING CLUB: The Godfather Wrestling Club meets from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Los Altos High wrestling room. Those age 5 and up are invited to join. There is a $25 membership fee. The club is run by Egan Intermediate School wrestling coach Chris Kay and Los Altos High assistant wrestling coach Jim Thrall.

SOCCER TRYOUTS: The '87 Roadrunners, a girls under-12 CYSA Select Class 1 soccer team, are looking for a goalie and other committed players born after July 31, 1986. Homestead High girls soccer coach Frank Medina will hold tryouts Feb. 28 and March 7 at Cupertino Junior High. For more information, call Joe Roark at 967-6723 or Jim Behlen at (408) 733-5487.

MORE TRYOUTS: The World United Futebal Clube invites motivated players to tryout for its boys under 15, under 14 and under 13 Class 1 CYSA soccer teams Feb. 20 and 26 at Foothill College. Teams are coached by Vava Marques, Foothill soccer coach. For tryout times, call Maggie at 941-1817.

SOFTBALL CAMP: Los Altos High softball coach Bernie Quintero will hold a softball camp for girls ages 8-16 at Los Altos High Feb. 16-20. Cost is $75. For more information, call 965-8153.

SCHOLARSHIP TIPS: The Los Altos High School Athletic Boosters invites student athletes and their parents to a free seminar on sports scholarships. The seminar is scheduled from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday in the Los Altos High cafeteria. The instructor will be Penny Hastings, author of the book, "How to Win A Sports Scholarship."
