SPRING SIGN-UPS: The Mountain View Recreation Division begins registering people for softball and four-on-four flag football Monday. To register, teams must submit a roster with at least 12 players for softball and six for football. The league entry fee is $480 for men's softball, $455 for coed softball and $450 for football. An additional $10 fee is assessed to each player who does not live in Mountain View. For more information, call 903-6404.

SOCCER TRYOUTS: The following CYSA soccer teams are looking for players:

The World United Futebal Clube, a boys under-15 Class 1 team, will hold tryouts Friday and Feb. 26 at Foothill College. The team is run by Foothill men's coach Vava Marques. For more information, call Maggie at 941-1817.

The Avalanche boys under-13, under-12 and under-11 teams seek players born after July 31, 1985, July 31 1986, and July 31, 1987, respectively. Los Altos High girls coach Ruedi Graf will hold tryouts Sunday and Feb. 26. For more information, call 592-0757.
