Students from Blach Intermediate School will represent the Peninsula Chapter of Mathcounts March 14 at the University of California, Davis.
This is the sixth straight year Blach students have represented the Peninsula chapter in the state competition.
Mathcounts is one of the country's largest partnerships in education with more than 7,000 schools participating annually.
Students compete both as a team and individually to solve algebra and geometry word problems.
