TOURNEY TIME: The El Camino YMCA in Mountain View is now registering teams for Hoopfest '98, a five-on-five basketball tournament for boys and girls in grades 5-8. The competition will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., March 21-22. Registration costs $150 per team (10 player maximum) and includes at least three games and a T-shirts. GET WET: The Los Altos Masters Swim Club offers daily workouts and lap swimming for adults age 19 and over. For more information, call 941-2406.

WEB WORKOUT: BioFitness Systems has unveiled Plan For Excellence, a national youth fitness program providing free, individualized strength and conditioning workout planning to senior varsity athlete enrolled in an accredited U.S. high school. SENIOR SOFTBALL: The Redwood City Señors seek players age 50 and up for a slow-pitch softball team. For more information, call Jack at 494-3505 or Stu at 948-1095.

SPRING SIGN-UPS: The Mountain View Recreation Division is registering players for softball and four-on-four flag football. To register, teams must submit a roster with at least 12 players for softball and six for football. The entry fee is $480 for men's softball, $455 for coed softball and $450 for football.
