Soccer playoffs get washed out

The quarterfinal round of the Central Coast Section playoffs was supposed to be played last Saturday.

However, heavy rains prevented the area's three remaining teams from playing. The Mountain View High boys, St. Francis High girls and Gunn High girls had to wait until this week to play.

Mountain View plays Seaside at 4:30 p.m. today at San Jose's Pal Stadium. Dates of the other games were not available at press time.
