The light-hearted theme of this year's fund-raiser will be "How the West Was Jewish," featuring kosher hors d'oeuvres, dancing, raffle prizes, and an exhibit of relic displays adding authenticity to Jewish history in the West. According to Purim Ball chairwoman Euca Sugarman, "The Jewish community in the Western region of the country has its own distinct characteristics that set it apart from the rest of the nation. By using the theme, 'How the West was Jewish,' the school and greater community will be celebrating both our similarities and our differences in a spirited, playful way for the sake of supporting our valuable school." Funds raised during this event will be used to cover the school's day-to-day operational costs. For tickets and information, call 364-3161 or 856-8565. |
