Town Crier Staff Report

Two students walking home from Santa Rita School at the start of this year reported that they were followed one block to their homes by a man driving a blue van. School officials notified students and parents, and called the police, who took a report.

"This has been a single incident," Principal Steve Peck said last week. "There have been no repeated sightings."

Peck said the police have no suspects and believe the man could have been in the neighborhood to sell fish and meat products door-to-door.
