Resident presides over Stanford 'Festival'

Los Altos resident Robert Ornstein is one of the Stanford University authors featured at "A Festival of Words and Music." This event of readings and performances by Stanford's authors and musicians will be held 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday at MacArthur Park Restaurant, 27 University Ave., Palo Alto. Ornstein is the author of "The Right Mind, Making Sense of the Hemispheres." Chairing the event is Ingrid Powell, also a Los Altos resident.

This celebration benefits Stanford's Institute for Research on Women and Gender. The institute supports research on women and gender.
