Volunteers needed for LAHS Grad Night Volunteers are needed to help construct and paint the sets that will be used to enclose the school quad at the Los Altos Grad Night celebration June 10. Work is taking place now in both day and evening hours at the former St. William School site on Rosita Avenue. LAHS sponsors teen job fair The Work Experience Program at Los Altos High School is sponsoring a job fair for teens from 2 to 3:30 p.m. April 30 in the school cafeteria. Coordinators said the event is coordinated each year to make students and parents aware that there are summer jobs available for teens. For more information, call 960-8837. Free immunizations for school children El Camino Hospital, the Los Altos School District and Kaiser Clinic have teamed up with other area organizations to sponsor a one-day immunization and school physical clinic for local children in need. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, at the Kaiser Clinic, 555 Castro St., Mountain View. The clinic is free. Appointments are recommended but not required. Indian powwow at De Anza College American Indian arts and cultures will be celebrated at the 18th annual Powwow Friday through Sunday at De Anza College in Cupertino. American Indians from throughout the United States and Canada will take part in traditional dancing and drumming competitions in authentic traditional regalia.
