A tour of Los Altos-Los Altos Hills gardens

Five distinctive Los Altos-Los Altos Hills gardens will be featured in a tour held noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The event is sponsored by the Los Altos-Mountain View branch of the American Association of University Women.

An English tea will be served in a spacious poolside garden. Also included in the tour are rose, orchid and perennial gardens and a traditional Japanese garden where tea will also be served. A gardening instructor, garden designer, rose specialist and a wholesale plant distributor will be available to talk about the the gardens.

Tickets are available for $15. To order tickets, send a check payable to "AAUW-Los Altos-Mountain View," along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to M.J. Spring, 610 Glen Alto Drive, Los Altos 94024. Tickets sold on the day of the tour will be $20. For more information, call 948-4579.
