Hacker was a standout soccer player for the San Francisco school from 1944-46. He played on three AAA championship squads, earning all-league honors each year.A STAR IN TEXAS: Former Mountain View resident Dan Forsman finished in a four-way tie for sixth place at the Houston Open, held April 30-May 3. He led the first two days of the golf tournament and was tied for first after three days, but fell off the pace in the final day to finish with a 280. Forsman earned $64,750 for his efforts. WATER WORLD: The Los Altos-Mountain View Aquatic Club is seeking new members. The club has waived the $150 membership fee and discounted tuition for high school students who join in May. Organizers expect more than 7,600 players and 38,000 spectators at the 3-on-3 basketball tournament in downtown San Jose. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local high schools. TESTING TIME: Whether you're a triathlete, weekend warrior or armchair athlete, you can take advantage of state-of-the-art fitness testing offered at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills. The 45-minute test gauges strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, blood pressure, exercising heart rate and percentage of body fat. The test costs $9 for California residents.
