Burglary May 18, 5:31 p.m., 800 block of Carmel Avenue: A caller reported arriving home and finding their home had been burglarized. Narcotics registrant May 19, 12:39 p.m.: Police detective Chris Fowlie requested a case number for a narcotics registrant. DUI May 20, 12:06 a.m., Fremont and Miramonte avenues: Police arrested a driver on charges of driving under the influence. Assistance May 20, 6:52 p.m., 4300 block of El Camino Real: A caller reported that a 45-year-old male patient had taken leave of the VA Hospital in Palo Alto. The caller reported that the patient is taking medication and has a history of schizophrenia and violence. Assault Thursday, 3:51 a.m., Foothill Expressway and Grant Road: A caller reported that a car came at him intentionally while he was riding his bicycle. The caller said the incident happened at 8 p.m. the night before. Pipe bomb Thursday, 12:23 a.m., 1100 block of St. Joseph Avenue: A caller reported that a ninth or 10th grader just ran from a possible pipe bomb at the corner of St. Joseph Avenue and Stonehaven Drive. The caller said the device seemed to be smoking. DUI Friday, 2:26 a.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old man on charges of DUI. |
