The locally-based minor league soccer team is now 4-0 on the road and 7-1 overall. The Ambassadors' lone loss came in the season opener, a 1-0 decision against the reigning national champion Roadrunners at Foothill College. The Roadrunners proved no match for the Ambassadors last Saturday in San Luis Obispo. The visitors won 3-0, getting all their goals in the second half. Aman Kebreab led the way, scoring two goals and assisting on the other. Todd Henry, one of four new players from the California Jaguars, scored the other goal in the final two minutes. The Ambassadors had a tougher time in their 1-0 win over the Highlanders last Friday night in Glendora. The Ambassadors only goal came in the 19th minute of the contest on a shot by Mugurel Dumitru. He was assisted by Randall Mann, another former Jaguar player. The Ambassadors maintained the lead by playing solid defense throughout the second half. The Ambassadors are undefeated (4-0) in the Southwest Division of the Premier Development Soccer League. They entered the week as the top-ranked PDSL team in the nation. The Ambassadors return home to host the Southern California Chivas Friday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. at Foothill, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills.
