Vandalism

May 30, 8:25 a.m., 1500 block of Oak Avenue: A caller reported "extensive vandalism" to the playing field at Oak School. Police said the sprinklers were broken off and the field was flooded. Oil-based paint was smeared "all over the bleachers," police said.

June 1, 8:44 a.m., 300 block of Second Street: A caller reported that lights were broken out in the parking lot and sand had been dumped.

Lost property

June 2, 8:24 p.m., 200 block of Almond Avenue: A caller reported that a flute was stolen from Los Altos High School.

Theft

Thursday, 11:37 a.m., West Edith Avenue: A caller reported that materials were stolen from a construction site June 3.

Bike theft

Thursday, 2:59 p.m., 100 block of Main Street: A caller reported that his bike was missing from the back of a restaurant.

Drugs

Thursday, 11:15 p.m., 2300 block of Homestead Road: Police arrested a 43-year-old man on charges of drugs, addict marks and paraphernalia.

Burglary

Friday, 3:12 p.m., 800 block of Mercedes Avenue: A caller reported a theft of a fancy "dagger-looking" letter opener from an unlocked garage.

Theft

Friday, 6:16 p.m., 4500 block of El Camino Real: A citizen reported that she left her $1,800 Rolex watch in a tanning booth the evening of May 31. When she returned for the watch, it was not there, she told police.

Saturday, 8:38 a.m., 1400 block of Kring Way: A caller reported that overnight the windows were smashed out of his parked vehicle.

Sunday, 8:02 a.m., 1100 block of Los Altos Way: A caller reported that the window to his vehicle was broken, possible by a BB gun.
