Misdemeanor

Sunday, 3:04 p.m., Chester and San Antonio roads: Someone wearing all black on a bike, "split near the north end," police said, dumped the bike, and dropped a backpack that contained burglary tools.

Theft

Saturday, 5:08 p.m., 200 block of Live Oak Lane: A caller reported that jewelry was taken from his residence Friday. He believes the suspect is a cleaning company employee.

Missing person

Friday, 12:28 p.m., Harrington Court: A caller reported that his 53-year-old son had not been home since Tuesday when he called his dad and was intoxicated. The caller said his son mentioned something about being in East Palo Alto.

Assault

Thursday, 5:15 p.m., 1600 block of Parkhills Avenue: A man grabbed his mother's right arm in anger and caused a bruise at some unknown time, according to a mandated report.

Malicious mischief

Thursday, 8:17 a.m. 1100 block of St. Joseph Avenue: A caller reported graffiti on the wall that happened overnight.

Thursday, 9:52 a.m., 300 block of Waverly Lane: A caller reported that the phone box attached to the outside of her house had been tampered with sometime during the night.

Thursday, 8:33 p.m., 900 block of Fremont Avenue: A caller reported that two 12-year-olds were throwing sprinkler heads into the expressway.

Stalking

June 24, 11:24 p.m. 100 block of Main Street: A caller said she believes someone she has counseled in the past six months may be stalking her.
