Students enrolled in the Foothill College Dental Hygiene Program in Los Altos Hills closed out the academic year with exciting news: They have been ranked No. 2 in the nation based upon their outstanding scores on the national license exam. Twenty-three students completed the national exam last March. In addition to passing the exam, the Foothill students scored six points higher than the national average. The national exam is taken by all dental hygiene students who are within four months of graduation. Throughout the United States, 201 schools received ranking.
