Tompkins ran a 16:25. Three other Los Altos residents won their respective divisions: Dee Gibson ran a 23:10 in the women's 40-49 age group, Ellen Clark clocked a 24:04 in the women's 50-59 bracket and Bob Anderson finished with a 17:43 in the men's 50-59 class.SPORTS CAMP: The 15th annual Northern California Junior Sports Camp for the physically disabled will take place Tuesday through Aug. 15 at San Jose State University. World-class athletes will teach sports like basketball, swimming and tennis to disabled youth ages 5-18. For registration information and volunteer opportunities, call (408) 267-0200. TEE TIME: The Young Life Golf Tournament will be held Aug. 31 at Los Altos Golf and Country Club. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Entry fee is $195 and includes lunch, a barbecue dinner and prizes. GET FIT: The YWCA of the Mid-Peninsula in Palo Alto is offering a variety of fitness classes this summer.
