Discovery Shop to hold first-ever silent auction

The American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop, 243 Main St., in Los Altos, is celebrating its third anniversary in business by holding a silent auction beginning Aug. 8 and running through Aug. 15.

Manager Ardy Bazarian said tickets to the musical "Chicago" and dinners at Prima Strada restaurant are among the auction items. For more information, call 949-0505.
