Anne Chappell Belden, author of a four-part Town Crier series detailing the kidnapping of Adobe Systems president Chuck Geschke, poses with a second-place California Newspaper Publishers Association award for investigative or enterprise reporting. The Town Crier received the award for weeklies between 11,000-25,000 circulation, at the association's annual convention, July 18, in San Diego.
