Red Barn Festival this Saturday at Stanford Equestrian Center

The ninth annual Red Barn Festival will be held at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday at the Stanford Equestrian Center.

The day-long event, which will include riders from the Los Altos area, benefits the Stanford Equestrian Center and the Northern California Chapter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

The Red Barn Festival will feature an array of equestrian events, with a focus on fun and educational activities for families. There will be demonstrations of different horse breeds and riding activities, exhibits, a petting zoo and a silent auction.

At the 5:30 p.m. evening performance, the festival will offer a sit-down barbecue dinner, western dancing and a live auction of donated goods and services.

Day tickets can be purchased at the door ($10 adults, $5 children and free for kids under age 6). Evening tickets, which include dinner and dancing, are $40.
