Garden club to hold fall plant and bake sale

The Garden Club of Los Altos will hold its fall plant and bake sale 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sept. 22, on the Creekside Room patio of the United Methodist Church, 655 Magdalena Ave., Los Altos.

Unusual plants, dried floral bouquets, produce and homemade bake goods will be available at reasonable prices, according to members.

The public is invited to attend the sale and also stay for the 1:30 p.m. program, featuring Dr. Don Mahoney, manager of the nursery at Strybing Arboretum in Golden Gate Park. The program costs $5.
