Civic group schedules Los Altos Hills candidates' nights

The Los Altos Hills Civic Association is sponsoring two candidates' nights for the four candidates running for two spots on the Los Altos Hills Council in the Nov. 3 election.

The first is 7-9 p.m., Sept. 28, at Los Altos Hills Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road. The second forum is also 7-9 p.m., Oct. 6, at Town Hall.

Candidates will be offered a three-minute opening statement, and then asked to field questions from the audience. The candidates also have been sent in advance a list of questions about issues for discussion at the forum.

Those running for council are: incumbent councilwoman Toni Casey; former planning commissioner Steve Finn; current planning commissioner Dot Schreiner; and Jim Steiner of the town finance committee.
