Upcoming events at the Los Altos Library include several interesting programs.

Picassso lecture: 7 p.m. tonight, Dr. Peter Arnovick, internationally recognized Picasso scholar and Los Altos resident, will speak on "Picasso and the Weeping World."

Teen open mike: At 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 there will be open mike poetry reading for teens, reading an original poem or a favorite. Refreshments will be served. No registration needed.

Illustrated Picasso lecture, 7:30 p.m., Oct. 21.

All events are free, open to the public and held in the Community Room at the library. For more information, call 948-7048.
