The district has a bond measure, Measure H, on the Nov. 3 ballot to relieve overcrowding due to a growing enrollment and for the repair and rehabilitation of the aging schools. "We want the public to have an opportunity to see for themselves what kind of shape our 40 to 50 year old schools are in. We'll also be available to answer any questions people may have about student population, relocatables on our sites or the overall facilitates plan," said Superintendent Marge Gratiot. The proposed bond measure would provide funds for all sites for the improvement of inadequate electrical service and lighting; replacement of defective plumbing and bathroom facilities; rehabilitation of heating and ventilation systems; modernization of existing classrooms; addition of classrooms to relieve overcrowding.
