Burglary

Oct. 5, 8:08 a.m., 2300 block of Homestead Road: A caller reported that a glass door was smashed during the night.

Indecent exposure

Oct. 5, 9:05 a.m., 1700 block of Havenhurst Drive: An adult male in his 40s, with a moustach or beard, wearing dark glasses, was reported for indecent exposure. He was seen in a small white compact car, on Ravenswood traveling toward Oak Street, police said.

Marijuana

Oct. 5, 10:19 a.m., Los Altos High School: Police arrested a juvenile on felony drug charges for possession and sale of marijuana. He had a box with cash and four bindles, police said.

Oct. 5, 11:50 a.m., Los Altos High School: Police made an additional arrest, for misdemeanor drug charges, in connection with the above felony.

Assault

Oct. 6, 9:21 a.m., Los Altos High School: Police made an arrest following assault and battering between two students, both juveniles.

Vandalism

Oct. 6, 10:33 a.m., San Antonio Road and Yerba Buena Avenue: Police arrested two juveniles who were trying to light a bus bench on fire.

Forgery

Thursday, 7:53 a.m., 100 block of Main Street: Police took a report for forgery.

Leaf blower complaints

Thursday, 8:01 a.m., Fallen Leaf Lane/Eve Marie Avenue; and 1:08 p.m., Miramonte Avenue/Loma Prieta Court; Police issued citations.

Injury accident

Thursday, 5:14 p.m., 700 block of Berry Avenue: Police reported a possible accident with an 11-year-old girl hit by a car.

Restraining order

Friday, 12:24 p.m.: Police issued a temporary restraining order.

Assault

Friday, 6:20 p.m.: A woman reported that as she picked up her children, her ex-husband pushed her down the front steps.

Docent Kathleen Jenkins will present an illustrated lecture on Picasso and the war years at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 21, in the Los Altos Library Community Room. The lecture relates to the exhibit, "Picasso and the War Years: 1937-1945" currently at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. The San Francisco exhibit will be on display through Jan. 3, 1999.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

An open mike poetry for teens will be held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the library Community Room. Teens are invited to read an original or favorite poem and enjoy refreshments. For more information, call 948-7048.
