Homecoming parade in downtown MV

Mountain View High will hold its annual homecoming parade at 9 a.m. Oct. 31 on Castro Street in Mountain View. The homecoming football game will follow at 1 p.m. at Mountain View High. The parade will feature the school's award-winning marching band, floats, the homecoming court and performances by various school groups.

Record swap scheduled at Foothill College

Foothill College radio station, KFJC (89.7 FM), will hold a record swap from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 at the main dining hall at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills. The event will coincide with the station's annual fund-raiser. It will feature used record and compact disc vendors with hard-to-find recordings covering several musical genres. There will also be music videos and KFJC merchandise. A $2 donation is requested.
