Docent Kay Payne will give an illustrated lecture on "Food in Art: A Feast for the Eyes," at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the program room, Los Altos Library, 13 S. San Antonio Road.

The San Jose Cleveland Ballet will present a dance dialogue on "Marilyn & Company and the Nutcracker: New Faces at the Ballet," from 1-2 p.m. on Nov. 21. "Marilyn & Company" is a new solo ballet, to be presented in its West Coast premiere the end of November. The fanciful dance is about film star Marilyn Monroe. Dennis Nahat's version of "The Nutcracker" will be back again in December.
