Songs like "Buttons and Bows," "Lavender Blue" and "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" rang out Saturday night as the Los Altos Town Choir presented its second annual "Hit Parade Night" at the Los Altos Youth Center.

Keeping with its theme of honoring songs making the charts 50 years ago, the choir was led by conductor David Stein, choir master at Union Presbyterian Church in Los Altos.

The occasion also was a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Los Altos Rotary Club. The event drew more than 100 guests.

In addition to songs like "I'm Looking Over A Four-Leaf Clover," the concert gave a multisong tribute to veterans in honor of Veteran's Day.

Former Foothill College dean and Rotarian Dick Henning served as master of ceremonies.
