The Great Decisions discussion series for 1999 will begin Feb. 1 in the Los Altos Library program room. The Foreign Policy Association sponsors the lectures and prepares the briefing booklet that is the foundation of the series. Participants will meet from 10 a.m. to noon for eight Mondays in February and March, except Feb. 15.

Some of the topics include: The Information Age, New Dimensions for U.S. Foreign policy; The Asian Financial Crisis, the IMF and its Critics.
