The Los Altos Library is adding new magazines and one newspaper in 1999. There are 10 new science and technology titles, paid for with Vision 21 funds. A few include: Alternative Medicine Digest and Technology Review.

Five new finance magazines include: Bob Carlson's Retirement Watch and Value Line Options and Convertibles.

For young adults, some new titles include: Teen People and Young Money.

Other new magazines include: American Health, Cooking Light and Frommer's Budget Travel.

The library is also adding the New York Times Large Type weekly paper.
