Burglary

Dec. 7, 11:59 a.m., 300 block of First Street: A caller reported a commercial burglary during the night.

Hazardous dumping

Dec. 7, 3:18 p.m., 1000 block of Autumn Lane: A caller reported that a construction crew was dumping paint down a storm drain.

Paint spilling

Dec. 7, 4:02 p.m., El Monte and Hawthorne avenues: A caller reported that paint supplies spilled from a vehicle onto the roadway.

Injury accident

Dec. 7, 9:49 p.m., 4800 block of El Camino Real: Police reported a possible stroke victim in a red vehicle in front of Jack in the Box. Victim may have hit their face against the windshield, police said.

DUI

Dec. 8, 4:14 a.m., 2100 block of Grant Road: Police arrested a 39-year-old on DUI charges.

Leaf blower citation

Dec. 8, 12:08 p.m., 1300 block of McKenzie Avenue: Police issued a leaf blower citation.

Thefts

Thursday, 10:17 a.m.: 2200 block of Homestead Court: Stolen check reported cashed;

2:27 p.m., 200 block of Almond Avenue: a Nextel two-way radio was reported stolen at Los Altos High School;

4:37 p.m., 4600 block of El Camino Real: Wireless World reported possible theft of a pager;

5:35 p.m., 2200 block of Grant Road: Purse stolen.

Vandalism

Friday, 11:37 a.m., 2100 block of Deodora Drive: A caller reported a window knocked out in his vehicle. Nothing was stolen, police said.

Child neglect

Saturday, 11:40 a.m., 300 block of First Street: A 3-year-old child was reported alone in a car. Police found the mother and admonished her regarding felony child endangerment.

DUI

Sunday: 1:55 a.m., 1400 block of Grant Road: Police arrested a 19-year-old.
