Forgery, theft

Jan. 11, 1700 block of Hawkins Drive: A man reported the theft of his wife's jewelry and the contents of her savings account.

Drugs

Jan. 11, 11:31 a.m., 200 block of Almond Avenue: Los Altos High School requested police help with a male student in possession of drugs. Police made an arrest.

Alcohol possession

Jan. 11, 12:18 p.m., 1500 block of Elmhurst Drive: Mountain View High School security were out with two Los Altos students on alcohol possession. Mountain View Police also responded. Police made an arrest.

Theft from car

Jan. 11, 7:57 p.m., Sherwood Lane: A caller reported that her car was broken into and her laptop computer was taken while the car was at this location.

Leaf blower complaint

Jan. 13, 8:57 a.m., 1600 block of Newcastle Drive: Police issued a citation for a leaf blower violation.

Burglary

Jan. 13, 6:35 p.m., 500 block of Tyndall Street: A caller said her roommate's ex-boyfriend broke into her home, wrote graffiti on her roommate's bedroom walls and ransacked the room. Police took a report.

Warrant service

Thursday, 3:45 a.m.: A 20-year-old surrendered himself at the police station on an outstanding warrant.

Thursday, 11:01 p.m., 700 block of Fremont Avenue: Police arrested a 21-year-old man on an outstanding warrant.

Residential burglary

Thursday, 9:23 p.m., 100 block of Hamilton Court: A man reported cash and jewelry had been taken between Jan. 8-14 from his home. The housekeeper is a suspect, he told police.

DUI accident

Friday, 12:12 a.m., El Camino Real, San Antonio Road: In a solo vehicle accident, a 34-year-old hit a curb, bushes and retaining wall. Police arrested the San Jose woman on DUI charges.
