Unusual circumstance Jan. 26, 1:18 p.m., 200 block of Almond Avenue: Police reported someone in a car at Los Altos High School had a BB gun and shot at children. Missing persons Jan. 28 11:58 a.m., Pine Lane: A 90-year-old woman wearing a red jacket wandered off. She had been missing for 30 minutes. She was last seen in her room on Los Altos Avenue. A report was taken. Feb. 1, 1:40 p.m.: A caller reported that her mentally ill mother had been missing since Tuesday from a residential care facility in Mountain View. Theft Jan. 28, 11:50 a.m., 2000 block of Grant Road: A man fled a store with razor blades. He was seen in a gray or brown Mazda with a woman with brown hair and a white puffy jacket. Unusual circumstance Jan. 28, 2:29 p.m., 300 block of San Antonio Road: A caller reported that she bought gas earlier in the day and the attendant overcharged her. The caller alleged the station is charging people higher gas prices. A report was taken.
