Match-up: Homestead vs. St. Francis in girls basketball.

When & Where: 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, at St. Francis High, 1885 Miramonte Ave., Mountain View.

Situation: This game could very well determine who wins the SCVAL De Anza Division championship. The Lancers entered this week atop the division at 8-0, while the Mustangs were in second at 7-1.

What to Watch For: These teams appear to be evenly matched, both ranking in the top five of the Central Coast Section. One of the key match-ups is at point guard, where St. Francis' Christine Capuyan goes against Homestead's Michelle Wald.

Recent History: St. Francis stopped Homestead's 11-game win streak Jan. 26 with a 50-38 victory in Cupertino. The Lancers jumped out to a 28-14 halftime lead and never let the Mustangs back in it. St. Francis' Chrissy Hirsch and Homestead's Julie Speckels each tallied a game-high 13 points.
