Record swap at Foothill

Foothill College's radio station, KFJC, is sponsoring a record swap from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 28, at the college's main dining hall, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills.

The event will feature rare vinyl and compact disc recordings.

A $2 donation at the door is suggested. All proceeds will go to the operation of KFJC. There is also a $2 parking fee.

Jewish School applications

The Mid-Peninsula Jewish Community Day School will accept applications for the 1999-2000 school year through March 1. Enrollment applications received after the deadline date will be accepted on a space available basis.

The K-6 school is in the process of expanding to grades 7 and 8. The school is one of 16 schools nationwide to receive a middle school development grant from the Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education.
