Los Altos arts supporters are sponsoring a 7:30 p.m., March 3 lecture on the current exhibition from the Victoria and Albert Museum, now on view at the Palace of Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
The lecture, featuring Kay Payne reviewing the exhibit's highlights, will be held at the Los Altos main library, 13 S. San Antonio Road.
"A Grand Design: The Art of the Victoria and Albert Museum," which runs through May 9 at the Palace of the Legion of Honor, includes more than 200 objects that depict 2000 years of art and decorative objects from around the world. Payne is head of the docent program for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. The free lecture is sponsored by the City of Los Altos, the Friends of the Los Altos Library, and the Los Altos Arts Committee.
