Docent Kay Payne will present an illustrated lecture, "Treasures from the Victoria and Albert Museum," at 7:30 p.m. today in the Los Altos Library Program Room.

Her lecture relates to the exhibition, "A Grand Design: The Art of the Victoria and Albert Museum," which is at the Palace of the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco through May 9.

The Victoria and Albert, a London museum, features decorative and applied arts. The Los Altos Arts Committee and the Friends of the Library are co-sponsoring the lecture.

The next book in the library's discussion series, 7:30 on March 10, is "Crossing to Safety."
