Bellarmine College Preparatory will hold its 23rd annual Golden Bell Auction from 5 p.m. to midnight, this Saturday on campus, 850 Elm St., San Jose.
Every year the school's Samuel A. Liccardo Center is transformed into an exotic fantasy cruise destination. This year, the "S.S. Bellarmine" will sail to Australia.

Trip scheduled to Disneyland
The Los Altos Recreation Department is hosting its 7th annual spring break trip to Disneyland from April 12-16, which has been coordinated to take place during the Los Altos School District's spring break. The trip is open to junior high and high school students.
The trip will be spent locally the first two days at the Santa Cruz Beach/Boardwalk and at Alcatraz and Pier 39 in San Francisco.
The last three days will include excursions to Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Hollywood and Disneyland.
The cost for the Southern California portion of the trip is $200; the cost of the local portion of the trip is $60; and the entire trip is $250.
The fee includes admission to Alcatraz, Santa Cruz Beach/Boardwalk; all three theme parks in Southern California; and chartered bus transportation, lodging and supervision.

Loyola holds silent auction
The Loyola Parent-Teachers Association is holding its annual silent auction, "An Evening in Paris," from 6-9 p.m., this Saturday at the Fremont Hills Country Club, 12889 Viscano Place, Los Altos Hills. The event will feature music, drinks, door prizes. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of a new play structure. for the Loyola playground.

Parent preschool holds fund-raiser
The Los Altos Parent Preschool is scheduled to hold its silent auction, "Bustin' Loose," from 7 p.m. to midnight, March 27, at the Youth Center in the Los Altos Civic Center.
Tickets for the western-theme event are $25 per person or $40 per couple.

The Mountain View-Los Altos High Union High School District will host its annual college fair from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., March 24 at Los Altos High School.
More than 80 colleges and universities are expected to be represented including local community colleges, California State Universities, the University of California campuses, Ivy League Schools and others throughout the country.

SAT practice test available at LAHS
The Mountain View-Los Altos High School Foundation is offering students a chance to take the SAT-1 practice test from 8 a.m. to noon, April 10 at the Los Altos High School cafetorium.
The practice test will provide students the chance to find out exactly where they stand without their scores showing up on their permanent record.

Job fair for teens
Students will have the opportunity to begin their summer job search next month at the annual Teen Job Fair.
The fair will be held from 2 - 3:30 p.m., April 28 at the Mountain View High School gymnasium; from 2:30-4 p.m., April 29 in the Los Altos High School quad. More than 30 local businesses are expected to be on site with job descriptions and applications. The event is free.

De Anza College is accepting applications for its spring quarter, which begins April 5.
