Men's tennis team clobbers Cabrillo

he Foothill College men's tennis team remained perfect in Coast Conference play last week with a 9-0 dismantling of host Cabrillo.

The Owls won all nine matches in straight sets March 16 to improve their conference record to a stellar 7-0.

Singles winners included top player Taiki Hori, plus Rodrigo Godoy, Brad White, Brian Ball, Mike Morrison and Cody Wilson.

Winning on the doubles side were the top team of Hori-White, along with Morrison-Wilson and Godoy-Ball.

Men's basketball

Sophomore Jimmy White last month was named first team all-Coast Conference. The forward also earned this honor last year.

This year's all-conference team includes three Owls in the honorable mention category: forwards Billy Brooks and O.J. Longmire, both sophomores, and guard Randall Powell, a freshman.
